Some of the old favorites are gone, but a host of "new kids" have risen up. Here's a quick rundown of some of the places in "Coco Park" (also called "Shopping Park," or "Gou Wu Gong Yuan" [购物公园]).

South Precinct
South precinct basement: drink-and-dessert options AYSH (A Young Simple Heart), Spinelli Coffee, and Gaga; fast food places KFC and Yoshinoya (Japanese beef bowl); Malaysian dining at Pokok Kelapa Malayu.

Second floor: Illy Coffee, Watami "casual Japanese," Shi Ming Jia Korean restaurant, Burger King and Papa John's Pizza.
Third floor: the self-explanatory Supersteak and Yes Thai.

Moving to the north side of Fuhua Lu, in the basement: a food court full of Asian specialties; Subway Sandwiches; and Little India.
